The ice cream is truly great. This location is not suited for drive by traffic. No convenient parking. It is suited for walking traffic and for the SDSU students. We'll with finding a parking spot. I had a sundae and it was yummy, creamy and started melting soon after I got it. That's a sign of real ice cream.
Disappointing First Visit (but great service) I stopped into Handel’s for the first time ever — as a serious ice cream lover, I was excited to try something new. The lady who served me was really nice and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself was a big letdown. I ordered coconut and taro, but neither flavor tasted like what it was supposed to.
