Worst massage ever. Literally felt worse after the massage.
Today was my first time trying out this location and I booked an appointment with Peter. I will have to admit this was one of the worst massages I have recieved. I asked for a firm massage when filling out the forum. The massuse gave a half ass massage, he kept repeating the same motion over and over again. It just felt like he was rubbing oil to my skin. By the end I felt like I never even got a massage. It was such a waste of money and I would never go again.
To was my first time at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa and it was the best I felt after a massage . The areas of concerns I went in for was address and my therapist was very attentive and making sure I was comfortable . This place is now my rescue. I will recommend this place ..also they work to accommodate last minute
My wife was a regular customer and unfortunately she had to cancel the day of, with a few hours of notice because of family reasons. Instead of being understanding and simply rescheduling the appt. They charged my wife $60. It seems this place doesn't value its regulars and would rather lose a customer. This place is a joke. There are plenty of massage places in the Durham region and we will happily give our business to somebody else.
I cancelled my membership after repeatedly finding it very difficult to get appointments. At the time of cancellation, I was told I would still be able to use the massage credits I had on file. When I later called to book an appointment, I was informed that my credits had expired, which I had not been informed would happen. I was told by the receptionist that the manager would look into it and call me back. Instead, I received an email stating they could not access the credits and that their prices had changed.
