I brought my 76 year old mom in for a facial with Darlene. I was nervous that she wouldn’t do well because she has advanced Alzheimer’s. Darlene was an absolute gem. She was so good with my mom. I tried to email the manager so I could refrain from making a public review, but she didn't respond and I know she responds on here. I had a massage there last night. Unfortunately, it was the worst massage I've ever had. It was definitely not worth the $79.95 or frankly not even worth $20. She basically just rubbed massage oil and did not actually massage the muscles for 99% of the time. I had asked her to do "medium pressure" when she asked in the beginning. Cheerful, welcoming, comfortable facilities, and my facial was thorough with each step explained by a master esthetician. She was enthusiastic and practical.
I’ve been a member of this location for about 3-4months and am always greeted with a smiling face by whoever is at the front desk. I’ve been getting monthly facials with Darlene and she is nothing short of amazing! She takes the time to understand the condition of your face and personalizes each session based on how you’re doing that day. I am always so refreshed after the session and am in love with the progress my skin has made so far! Getting a membership was the best self-care investment I did for 2025 :)
I would not recommend hand and stone for any services because they are not transparent with the pricing. I called to ensure that I would be able to use a 50% discount that I got through one of their emails and they assured me that it would be ok to use with the type of service that I was being scheduled for as long as I showed the email at the time of the appointment.
