They were incredible! Amanda was such a pleasure and was so helpful during the whole process. Was going in a little nervous that I wouldn’t find “the one,” but the selection was great and out of the 6 that I tried on, I knew one of the first two I tried would be coming home with me. The interior is adorable, the champagne was great, seats were comfortable, and very affordable!
I loved my wedding dress from Hand-Me-Gowns! The dress I purchased was previously a sample dress at a local bridal shop. As an environmentalist, I was thrilled to be able to buy a dress that was already made rather than ordering a brand new dress for my wedding day. Further, since I bought it off the rack with a lot of help and support from Caitlin, I was able to start the alternations early and adjust the dress to not only fit perfectly but to adjust certain elements that I wanted to change. I couldn't have asked for more. I hosted a fake wedding photoshoot so I could build upon my portfolio as a photographer while also showing off other small businesses like Hand-Me-Gowns. Not only was Caitlin an absolute doll, she was extremely kind, communicative, prepared, and insightful. She pinned each model into dresses that fit them beautifully-- sizes 0 to 18 or 20, each looking magazine-worthy. I couldn't recommend this business enough for people of all shapes, sizes, and colors, as you will feel abundantly celebrated.
I had such an amazing experience at Hand-Me-Gowns! From start to finish, everything felt personal and fun. I booked a 90-minute bridal appointment and was greeted with champagne and snacks, which instantly set a relaxed and celebratory tone.
