Amazingly fresh fish. My fiance was convinced he doesn’t like sashimi until Tony (you’ll love him) convinced us to order the salmon belly special and the red snapper specials- both sashimi style no rice- and he fell in love! One was citrusy and so might. We had butterfish with no sauce whatsoever just straight and fish and it was like it’s name- melt in your mouth like butter. Not fishy whatsoever. Run, don’t walk to Hanami. I am a local and this is my go to restaurant on the entire shoreline. The absolute freshest fish you will find in New England! The guys behind the sushi bar are all fantastic. The service staff are so attentive and wonderful with a special shout out to Joyce who has always taken such great care of us. Hanami Japanese Restaurant was fantastic! The man who seated us was so nice and welcoming. We split the chicken, shrimp, and steak hibachi dinner for two, and the portions were huge and everything was delicious. Even with all that food, we didn’t leave feeling overly full or gross—just satisfied! We’ll definitely be back! 🍣🥢
