Here at Hanabi, we pride ourselves in offering only the freshest fish that Middle Tennessee has to offer. Unlike some of the other restaurants in the Brentwood area our sushi grade fish is NEVER frozen and we are very proud of that fact. Best sushi EVER!!! – I lived in San Diego for over 20 years, and I can tell you unequivocally that this is the BEST sushi I've ever had! My boyfriend, a meat-and-potato Texan, has now become a sushi addict because of Hanabi. Both Tony and Aji (sp?) are amazing sushi chefs -- the food is gorgeous as well as yummy -- and everything is incredibly fresh. Have a Hanabi roll -- it's fabulous!!!
Fantastic sushi! Great people and atmosphere! Not great for large parties, works great for a 4 person (or less party), they work to fit larger parties in, but it's a squeeze!
Wake Up roll!
Authentic – I lived in Japan and Hanabi is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the south. They have a warm and inviting atmosphere and the food is authentic and wonderful. We drive 2 hours from Alabama specifically to eat at Hanabi.
Hanabi: the best Japanese restaurant in Davidson County – Hanabi has terrific sushi (both raw and cooked) and superb beef and chicken teriyaki. Try the eel-- it is the best ever!
Always Awesome! – We have been going here for over two years and this is by far the best/freshest sushi place in town. We have gone every where and no place tops this one. The owner is such a hard worker and is always there. The servers come and go but we have never received bad service. Everyone is friendly and the sushi is amazing!
BAD SERVICE WAITRESS!!! – Service was very bad, slow and totally not nice. Only one lady working on the floor. And she was talking on the phone all the time. No refill water. BAD BAD BAD. How come they do business with hiring only one waitress on the floor.

Five stars- Wonderful experience – I usually don't take the time to sit down and write a review on a restaurant, but this time it is well deserved. Our entire experience from beginning to end could not have been better. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant was immaculately clean. The food was out-of-this-world delicious (even for a sushi snob like my husband). The prices were completely reasonable. I will absolutely be dining here again. Great job, Hanabi!
Suspect sushi – Pleasant service but after eating the rainbow roll was up at 1:30 am. Not pleasant. The fish on top of the roll just didn't look right and obviously wasn't. Other items may be okay but I'll go for sushi elsewhere from now on.
