I go to Hana Yori EVERY YEAR for my birthday since 2004. absolutely LOVE IT!
The only "complaint" that I have is not all of the chefs have the performance capabilities that others do. Some just stand and cook (just going through the motions) with no personality behind what they are doing. Others are wonderful and interact with the rest of the table (which is what I go there for [well, and the food best darn Japanese food around]). Great fun. Our family's trust my husband and hide there for a 50th wedding anniversary.
It's a one of kind to me. I've been there first before others. I love the atmosphere and food selections. Also memorable. I've been there 3 times and love every moment.
Great food, Great Chefs, huge portions, friendly service and hosts. And nobody can beat the Egg sauce ! Been going there for decades !
