We have been going to Hana Yori for YEARS. Last night we went to celebrate my daughters birthday. I found (by biting down on it) a piece of plastic in my salad. When the cook saw what had happened he asked for the piece of plastic. I *assumed* he was going to mention it to someone or to management. Nothing was said. I have been to tepan steakhouses all over the world and BY FAR, Hana Yori is my favorite! I rate them as a 4 out of 5 because they need a serious face lift. I have been going there since 1991 and I have never seen the decor change at all. It's time, Hana Yori... make your atmosphere match your fantastic food!
First, let me say that my husband and I have been coming to Hana yori at least twice a year for the past 25 years, so I am well aware of what the service should be like. Yesterday, as always the food was spectacular, but the service was awful. We ordered sushi at the beginning of the meal and had to ask for it twice before it was delivered an hour later. 2 members of our party had to ask for a drink refill 3 times before it was finally delivered over 30 minutes later.
