We got the Tonkotsu ramen and it was so awful! I took a bite and then my son took a bite and we both decided it was the biggest waste of $20. The noodle texture is perfect though. Too bad we couldn’t stomach the taste. If you want good ramen, look elsewhere.
Servers were great, and the tonkotsu ramen was on point.
Workers are a bit too snobby. Food is good. I won't lie. But it takes too long. I always get snobby response to questions. Not my first rodeo with Japanese food. Don't need condescending attitude. Been here a few times with different ppl working and it's still the same. Learned my lesson.
Absolutely love this place!! THEO is the BEST!! He is so kind to me and my friends whenever we come by and you can tell he puts a lot of care into everything he makes.
Made the trip to Tampa specifically to check out Amateur Works and it was absolutely worth it. I came in craving sushi and ramen, and honestly? Best ramen I’ve had in a long time the quality genuinely impressed me. The Tonkotsu Ramen is a must-order. The bar itself is a vibe too — warm soft lighting and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Everything about the experience just hit right. 10/10, no hesitation. If you’re anywhere near Tampa and craving Tonkotsu Ramen or sushi You won’t be disappointed. 🍜🍣
