Bought a house and have had them since march of 24’ they came out the first time I called and I agreed to the visit every 3 months. It’s been close to year and that was the only visit I received no calls for another service to schedule, nothing. This e-mail is to express my anger and frustration of the current situation I find myself in with Hampton Roads Termite and Pest. Ref the attachment for estimated repairs to my home at *** ******* **Chesapeake which I am selling. The extensive damage to my home spelled out in this report and estimate could not have happened overnight. They have been servicing my termite and pest needs at my home for over 20 years. We were very pleased with the services provided for our recent sale closing. As the sellers, we wanted to ensure that every detail of the crawl space inspection was completed and that the necessary repairs were made to industry standards. Hampton Roads Termite & Pest Control did an outstanding job, were prompt with their appointment, left everything as they found it, provided very reasonable prices, and was very easy to work with. The previous owners of our new house had used the crawl space as a junk yard, so there was a lot of stuff, including an old hot water tank, a basketball backboard, a lot of wood scraps, etc. So my husband & I hired HR Termite to clean out the crawl space of our new house. Shannon Brown came out & gave us an estimate for $700 to clean it out (everything including the hot water tank) & to put down a moisture barrier, & said it should only take a day. I would never use this company again. They told me I had fungus and termites in my crawl space and wanted alot of money to treat it. I got several other pest control companies to come out and check-no termites and just a small area of fungus-they are not very honest and they tried to take advantage of a senior citizen.

Hampton Roads Termite & Pest is the ONLY company that was able to treat our roach and termite problems. My husband and I purchased a house that we did not know had active termites and a roach infestation. We had several other companies (Terminix, etc) come out to treat the house, but they were rude and never addressed the problem. I purchased a home in the area in June, 2011. As part of the transaction I received the usual fungus report inspection report from Hampton Roads. The inspection report stated that there was no active fungus. A month later I engaged Hampton Roads to perform routine fungus inspection and pest control services. As is customary with a new customer, they performed a full inspection of my property. Not reputable This company provided an inspection certification for the house I was buying stating that there were no action fungus issues. This was on a property that they had been servicing on a regular quarterly basis. Within a month of purchasing the home, I asked them to begin the usual quarterly service for me. As I was a new customer, they came out and did their standard inital inspection. This inspection revealed that I had a very serious active fungus problem. A that point I obviously had a problem.
