Dr. Tanner is the best. I’ve been going to him for years and he has taken great care of my eyes. Also just had my cataract surgery done in both eyes and it has gone without a hitch and vision is great! His staff is also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Tanner recommended cataract surgery and lens replacement. I was only 55 Years of age, so I wasn’t sure I wanted to have it done. He reassured me by telling me why would you wait another year struggling with your vision. So I decided to have it done. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. My vision was terrible now it is 2020. Dr Tanner is an amazing doctor. I was also reassured when I saw the countless military service men he has helped. I agree with the other negative comments and experiences with Dr. TANNER. HE AND MOST NOT ALL OF HIS STAFF IS RUDE! VERY! AND I AM NOT FINISHED YET!

I had cataract surgery and a few months later I needed a laser surgery to clear my vision. My right eye was never right. After YAG Lazer, I still couldn’t see well. I was told by Dr Tanner that “the only thing that will help you see is to get younger.” I have gone to Dr. Chen at Virginia Eye Associates and he did another YAG laser treatment and my vision is a lot better.
