Excellent doctor amazing with kids!!
I think that doctor Chamblee is great at what she does. She took great care of me when I was a child back in the 90s and based off the way she took good care of me I didn't want any other pediatric optometrist to see my son but her. My hubby literally chose the insurance she accepted through his job just to make sure our 9month old son could be seen by her. Her bedside manners was excellent. After she dilated my son's eye he became very fussy and she was so patient&kind towards him.Great lady.
Doctor has no bedside manners; condescending and no skill to examine babies. We were billed also for diagnosis she never told us our baby has. What a scam!
When I had my surgery in the late summer I was ecstatic that I could see so well again. Thanksgiving came, and at dinner each of us described something we were thankful for. I went for "someone" who did something .absolutely wonderful to me. Now it's Christmas, and instead of thinking a nice present would be a cruise or a Lamborghini, I know I could never have received a better gift than,what Dr. C did for my eyesight. Dr. Chamblee is one of the most compassionate people I've ever encountered.She has been seeing my daughter Autumn for many years with nothing but absolute respect and genuine concern. I would highly recommend her to any one who has a child in need with eye issues. She is definitely one of the very best in tge field! Thank you for all you do!
Horrible bedside manor. I can't believe she is a specialist for children. She has no patience with young children and basically threw her hand up and gave up with our child because she's shy and did not want to speak up to answer questions. I would think that's pretty common with three year olds. Very cold person and condescending to parents. She was with her all of 10 minutes. We had waited 2 months for this follow up and got no answers. I have never complained about a doctor, ever, until now.
Calls asking you to call but does not return call. Cannot get RX right for two years now. Have experienced unfriendliness & impatience. Use to value doctor. Will have to find new physician.
Dr. Larys did not give me a chance to ask questions, and sat facing away from me, completing his note during the appointment. He comes across very harsh and acted as if our appointment was an inconvenience. I'm sure he is an excellent clinician, but his bedside manner is in need of improvement-- given the changes in healthcare with patient satisfaction heavily driving reimbursement, he might want to adjust his mannerisms. His assistant was wonderful and very friendly.
