Finding a hotel room that is wheelchair accessible rather than accessible towards the elderly is very challenging. For some reason they're always unified as one and the same, but the needs are very different. I'm happy to report that this room was the most accessible that my wife and myself have ever utilized. She's full-time wheelchair and although the bed was still a little bit high for her, it was workable and the roll in shower was superb. I wish we could give more stars!!! My husband and I came from Michigan, our son is in the hospital almost across the street so after driving all night to be here for his surgery it was a pleasant treat to find a decent room at an affordable cost short notice. That being said I called the front office to make sure they had rooms, Jen was informative as well as friendly.
