Not the nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed in. Good staff.
The hotel is old and dated. The bathroom was claustrophobic. It is built on a hill and part of the parking lot is accessible by stairs. Not ideal when you have luggage. You can find a better place to stay the night. The original review (above) was posted in February 2024. I was forced to stay there again in August of 2026. It has not improved. Guest – Suite 313 My experience at this hotel has been very disappointing. My stay was not for vacation or pleasure, but due to an emergency situation. There are four registered guests in Suite 313, yet we were only provided with two towels. Saturday, August 15, I requested additional towels at the front desk. This Hampton Inn Tarrytown felt like somebody found an abandoned office building and said, “Throw in a waffle maker. We’re in business.” 🏨🛎️🧇 The 7th floor had missing ceiling tiles, buckets of yellow mystery water, no hot water, and elevators that took so long I had time to reflect on my life choices. 🪣 When I reported the lack of hot water, I got a quick tutorial: “You have to let it run for a few minutes.” I did.
