I made my reservations for the hotel on the Hilton app. The rate charged for the room was higher than the rate in the app. I tried multiple times to talk to the GM about the rate, but each time the GM was not available. The total charge for three nights in Waycross, GA was $640.61. The average cost per night for other Hamptons within an hour of Waycross is $142.75 per night. Other issues: 1. No AC in the lobby 2. DO NOT STAY HERE!! I dont know who left these high reviews , but they definitely don't know quality and service. The customer service sucks- they treat you like they are letting you stay and youre not a PAYING guest. No late checkouts, no sense of hospitality.. they literally act like they are doing you a favor with whats customary at other hotels. No turn down service- shocker! Marvin was great! Kudos to him! Had a great stay at the Hampton Inn in Waycross! Although the digital key option decided to take the day off (technology, right?), the staff more than made up for it. Super friendly, helpful, and welcoming—Southern hospitality at its finest! The room was spotless, the bed was crazy comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-kept. Honestly, it was the perfect place to crash after a long day. Would definitely stay again—just hoping the digital key gets it together next time!
Staff at front desk is very nice rooms are nice the only problem is they have a pool but is not open daily like it suppose to be they close it down saying it has to be clean and then tell you it will be open then tell you it’s not going to be open it’s the middle of July people want to swim and one more bad thing is the staff that does breakfast is very rude other than that it’s good I would recommend others to stay if u want to swim everyday may need to check other hotel
