Absolutely not worth 400 dollars per night. Taxes and fees ridiculous. Water pressure poor. One elevator working. Breakfast fine but typical for Hampton Inn. Will not return at that price.

Pros, very comfortable beds, ramp parking garage, friendly staff and a very nice restaurant/bar. Excellent location. Really nice rooms. Cons, 1 of 2 elevators broke down causing long waits or lots of stairs ups and downs. BTW, charged parking, but didn't mind. Felt secure and dry. Accessible from each level. We'll definitely be back due to an excellent location in south end.

We stayed at Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South fromSat, Sep 5 - Mon, Sep 7(2 nights).We had a suite on the 10th floor #1001. I am a Hilton Honors Member. Long story short, the hotel charged me twice:(1) one for 3 nights - Wrong amount(2) 2nd one for 2 nights - Right amount I called the hotel many times to resolve the issue.Left many messages for managers and supervisors. Nice place, clean with awesome staff but one of the two elevators was broken and not usable our whole stay and the week before apparently. One functioning elevator for a hotel this size is unacceptable! When asked the staff just said they were waiting on a part. This is not acceptable either in my opinion since you can get anything shipped as fast as overnight in this day and age. The delay tells me management does not care about their guests. We will not stay here again.
