We just returned from a 6 day stay at the Hampton Rocky Point Tampa. We were in town for a convention but wanted a laid-back area on the Bay vs the busy downtown. We received such wonderful service here ! A spotless room, top notch service, a complimentary hot breakfast every morning - with so many options to choose from. We really loved the modern Lobby area to unwind at night and work . We had stayed here about a year and a half ago and booked it again due to a positive experience at that previously time. Unfortunately, our visit this time definitely left us feeling very disappointed. When we arrived to the hotel around 9:30pm after a long day of travel, there was no one at the front desk to check us in. We waited a few minutes and no one came. The staff at this hotel will go up and beyond to satisfy your every need. From checking in late night to the breakfast the following morning. Jake and the maid staff helped me recover some forgotten items too. I will definitely stay here again if the opportunity is presented.
