We checked in to a ground floor room. It was spacious, 2 Queens and a pullout sofa, as there are 5 of us. After sitting for a bit I became aware of an ammonia smell (urine) maybe from a pet? It was tolerable, I checked with the front desk... they were full so no chance at moving. Oh well...I guess I've stayed in worse.
Clean, comfortable and close to all the attractions.
Clean, comfy, and a pretty good hot breakfast. They even changed it up, we had mini western omelettes the second day! The employees who ran breakfast did a great job ensuring things were restocked. Recommendation: one of those water fountains for refilling bottles. Bottles are so common now, and being a heavy tourist area that would be helpful
Tasha and Oscar at the front desk were so helpful. Tasha in particular was helpful extending our stay an extra night, and she was so friendly and sweet to my whole family. The rooms are clean and free of bugs. Ac works well. The pool was a little murky but the pool room was clean. The workout room treadmill was broken, but I was able to jog on sidewalks all the way to Colonial Williamsburg and down Duke of Gloucester street. Overall, service made this hotel stand out. It's an excellent value.
