I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn in Vineland a few times now (including back in 2021), and I chose it again because it’s been consistently solid for me. The rooms are a bit dated — definitely more “mid” than modern — but everything works. The window AC unit ran strong, the room stayed quiet, and the beds were comfortable. There are some minor cosmetic issues around the window frames and wallpaper that look like past moisture wear, and the lighting fixtures feel a little old school. The location was the best aspect since it was only about 2 miles from where I needed to be the following morning. The elevators were a bit further from the entrance that I am used to, but nothing to do about that. In both elevators, there were the signs for wet floors & the floors were dirty. My room was on the 5th floor and when I exited the elevator, there was a distinct, musty smell. The bathtub was super slippery. I booked this hotel as A gold hiltons honors affiliate because it was along the way as I passed through. Explained to them on the phone the situation & told them even though I only needed the room for a few hours. I specifically told them when booking that id be checking in around 2:30 am due to traveling weather "a huge snow storm". They assured me that they would hold my room and I could check in as soon as I arrived. Room was spacious. We brought our dogs so maybe we didnt have the best room but it was clean. Could have used some updating . The breakfast was very good waffles eggs sausage oatmeal fresh fruit. The staff was very nice and accommodating!

Marcel was great! His warm welcome, humor, and customer service were top notch. The rooms were clean but could use some deep cleaning like wiping the headboards and wooden doors for fingerprints. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and I felt safe and welcomed.
