This Hampton Inn is as good as any other I’ve stayed in. Breakfast with the make-your-own waffles and open for several hours (6-10am), which is convenient. Staff is friendly and quick to help with anything.
Super friendly people at the front desk. Walked outside at midnight and still felt safe. Clean rooms. Jacuzzi had an issue, but they sent someone up to fix it. I would stay again.
7/29/25 UPDATE!!! I spoke with the general manager this morning named Randy. He was super nice and really professional. He told me he already put a full refund back on my credit card for the trouble. I also expressed my concerns about the shelves falling out of the walls again and potentially hurting someone. He did confirm with me that Hilton has approved for studs to be put in the wall in each room to reinforce the shelves. This makes me happy since the shelves were my main concern. Best place you can stay in Shreveport. The staff is amazing breakfast is wonderful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. So many restaurants and shopping places that’s in walking distance. I Will be staying again when I return to Shreveport every time !
$270 for one night for this??? First issue, my online reservation got messed up and I was supposed to be on the 1st floor, not the 2nd. It is the only reason I paid the extra King upgrade to be on the 1st floor. But I ended up on the 2nd floor. Next issue, the room smelled really musty!! The bathroom & shower looked disgusting and had a dirty towel hanging on the back door from the previous guest.
