We are in the process of coordinating a wedding room block and have had terrible communication. This is the first time I’ve dealt with a hospitality service this bad so I feel obligated to get this out there! Pros: Updated rooms, daily room service, friendly staff and only a short drive to restaurants, shopping and beach in San Clemente. Outdoor heated pool and hot tub are nice but get limited direct sun during the day. Cons: This is specific to my visit but the hotel is undergoing renovations. Normally I wouldn't mind but it was mentioned on the hotel website or in the Hilton Honors app. The largest inconvenience is the lack of hot breakfast. The worst place I've ever stayed in! The place is under construction, which is not listed online while looking nor booking. Various issues present from construction happenings: the noise was so loud that you could barely hear the front desk staff, the breakfast was in the parking garage, our balcony was taped up with a random tarp and working on our balcony, and no running water for nearly an hour upon arrival. I had a great experience at this hotel, and what stood out the most was the exceptional service from the staff, the front desk staff employee named Jeremy was super helpful.
Today is March 21st. Just arrived to toilets and the coffee station outside the entrance. Which is now in the garage. No Air conditioning, completely under construction hotel!!Do not book this hotel!! Here are pictures of the front desk, the entrance and the lobby.
