Reserved/Booked a "high rise" room(833) for my wife's birthday for two nights a week in advance to enjoy the night lights and large view of river(554usd). I checked in virtually and by phone/email 36 hours in advance. I reserved my rooms digital key which got "assigned". When we showed up to the hotel we are then moved to the first floor behind a stone wall blocking the river room. Hotel staff says, "it's ok. It's the same room layout." Do not book your stay through Hilton. I booked and paid for my room in advance through Hilton. Upon arrival I was asked to swipe credit card for incidentals. The next morning I was charged on my credit card for the room that I already paid for. I spoke with the front desk about the charge. It was refunded. Next morning I woke up and saw I was charged again for the room. I went to the front desk and was advised I did not pay for the room according to Hilton. The hotel was immaculately clean there's hot coffee and hot tea all day, the breakfast is out of this world! Alizabeth is the kindest, most helpful, professional staff member of any business I've seen in a long time. She oversees & handles any problems, professionally, with a smile. I had a problem with the vacation timeshare place, not the hotel, The manager didn't come out and speak to me or anything she pushed it off on Alizabeth who handled it very nicely.
