The room is very spacious and clean. The hotel is close to Lackland base. The lady at the desk was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Do not stay here. My family and our child spent a miserable, sweltering night in the peak of Texas summer heat because our room's AC was completely broken. We checked in late on the 4th of July, and the hotel was fully booked, so they couldn't switch our room. I want to share what was, unfortunately, one of my worst hotel experiences with Hampton Inn. We had a confirmed reservation at Hampton Inn in San Antonio, TX, and arrived at around 10:30 PM. At check-in, the receptionist informed us that the lock on our assigned room was not working and that the system would not allow her to check us in. I asked if another room was available, but she told me that the hotel was completely sold out and there were no other rooms available. This location stole money from my room today and two employees went into my room unauthorized 4 different times. Despite having a late check out, my room was entered and I was violated. They “conveniently” don’t have cameras in the hallways. Police report has been filed already, but Hilton needs to make this right and hold their employees accountable or I will be taking legal action.
