The rooms are slightly dated but overall very good value. Service has been very good and breakfast has been better then most. The hotel is on a busy road but sound transmission is minimal.
A good location within easy driving distance of the Poughkeepsie Galleria and other shopping and restaurants. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot with a back entrance behind the bank at the light as well as front entrances. The room was clean, the bed was a little soft for us but still comfortable enough. There is a big screen TV and mini refrigerator in the room. My husband and I chose the Hampton Inn & Suites in Poughkeepsie for our wedding guests to stay at during our wedding weekend. The director of sales and marketing, Indira Naidu, was so helpful with our planning. She made sure everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our guests.
