I left my charging cable and wall adapter on the nightstand. When I went back to claim the forgotten items, they went through the motions of searching for them—presumably in their lost-and-found—but ultimately told me they couldn't find any trace of my cable or adapter (which were Apple products). I lost about $40.00. I believe they kept them—but who, exactly? I don't know. And they didn't even bother to open an internal investigation. The suite proved to be an excellent choice for our family of four, offering a magnificent view. (Our visit was for business purposes). We would come back, hopefully not in high season.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh/Waterfront-West Homestead! The location is absolutely perfect—right along the waterfront with beautiful views and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s a great spot whether you’re visiting Pittsburgh for a game, a getaway, or just passing through. The hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained. Good location… We checked in late (around 11pm) got into our room and it was 64 degrees. So we turned the heat up…it didn’t get above 66 all night. The unit was blowing cold air all night. We messed with the thermostat a bunch hoping it was user error, it wasn’t. We thought about asking to switch rooms, but we were exhausted..and didn’t wanna play musical rooms.
