The hotel was in the midst of changing out all of its mattresses which tied up the elevators a lot, so I ended up taking the stairs many days. They did have some issues with their key lock system and put a lot of pressure on the staff, but they handled it like champs.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn a few weeks ago and the service was terrible. The rooms were decent, but the front desk staff carried themselves like helping guests was a chore. The only decent interaction I had was with the person who checked me in on Friday. Everyone else I dealt with at the desk over the weekend was unprofessional and dismissive. Hotel renovation looks phenomenal in both public spaces and guest rooms! Service is consistently very attentive, friendly and helpful. Can not beat the location in National Harbor with outstanding dining options, shopping and waterfront activities.

Absolutely the worst hotel stay I’ve had in years. I stayed at the Hampton Inn National Harbor for a week, and it was a disaster from start to finish. The key card system was completely broken—I was locked out of my room 28 times. Every time I had to either go all the way down to the front desk or call for help. Half the time no one even answered the phone, and several times there wasn’t a single staff member at the desk when I got there. I just stood around waiting 5–10 minutes for someone to show up.
