When traveling, we typically stay at Hampton Inns. They are readily accessible, clean, comfortable, a good little breakfast, and a fair price. We stayed the night of October 23, 2025 at the Hampton Inn in Smyrna, TN and were very disappointed. First, the road noise from Interstate highway 24 was excessive. Being an Interstate highway, it never quit and we had a room closest to the highway. Second, the black-out curtains had huge tears and holes in in them. Perfect for the traveler who wants to avoid the hustle and traffic of Nashville hotels. Room was large and bed was very comfortable. Very hot water, good water preasure, and quiet hallways. Breakfast was hot and/or cold with plenty of options. Easy on and off highway location. "Roll Tide" checked us in and he was delightful. Hampton is always our "go to" when. traveling.

Be very careful of your surroundings at this place. Three guys tried to get into my hotel room at 3:45 am. One had a mask on and possibly armed. I had to call the police. When I first check into my for my joining room door was unlocked. I think the guys were already staying there and waiting for a victim. What I didn't like is how long it took the police to get there and the police treating me like I was stupid. I tried calling the front desk but no answer during the incident.
