Had an enjoyable stay here with my wife and 14YO. Everything was clean, and the staff were very attentive and helpful when I had questions. The place has been renovated in the not too distant past, so it looks fairly up to date, though a few things are on the worn out side. Nothing that interfered with our stay, I'd recommend if you want to be right in downtown Milwaukee. Parking was $20 a night in adjoining parking garage, and overall price for the place was good, pretty reasonable really.

I first have to start with saying I’m shocked the Hampton Inn would put their brand name on this hotel. This is a one star review only because you cannot do a -10 star review. First, the hotel is filthy. The hallways had not been vacuumed in what looked like decades. Food crumbs, cherry stems and pits littered the carpeting for our entire stay. The hotel was a bit run down and had issues with sound, cleanliness, and HVAC. The pool water and hot tub water were really murky and you had to get the front desk to let you in, the room keys didn't seem to work. There were only 2 chairs and no towels by the pool, so it seemed they were actively discouraging use. The breakfast was the bare minimum, we have had much better at other Hamptons.
