Can't beat the Hampton Inn chain. Always reliable, dependable. The complimentary breakfast is a bonus.
One very comfortable stay. Spent a few days of exploring the area so we didn’t use the amenities but the room was super spacious, clean, cools and warms up as needed, quiet and plenty of parking around. About 15 minutes from downtown, away from the downtown fuss but close enough for a quick drive to downtown and a great base for the bourbon distilleries. The self check in and app door opening makes the process smooth and easy even when arriving late.
Let me preface by saying, we've stayed in a dozen Hampton's over the last couple years traveling. We don't expect any hotel to be perfect, all have some good and bad...this was the worst we've ever stayed at. Because I'm not one to tear apart a business on social media, won't go into a full story of details. Room was barely acceptable to consider clean (there were used q-tips on the bathroom floor for example), rooms are outdated and the attempt to 'update' them is so badly done it's hard to describe (holes in the wall, blin... read more
