It was an easy check-in, although it was strange having the lobby on the third floor and my room being on the first floor. Because they're sort of on the side of the hill, the pool and hot tub are on the first floor along with a few rooms. The second floor is the weight room and laundry and the third floor has the lobby check-in And breakfast area. Level 4 through 6 are rooms and level 7 is the beautiful restaurant with good food. We stayed here on a Saturday night the front desk was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and Luke checked us in. We actually owned hotels and this is the nicest Hampton Inn. It is a relatively new hotel and they went the extra mile with the interior finishes. Everything is spotless and like new. We also ate at the observatory restaurant on the 7th floor that has beautiful views of the river and the ski hill. The bartender and waitress provided excellent service and more importantly the food was delicious.
