The receptionist was very nice and friendly, and the hotel is in a convenient location, about 8 minutes from Hersheypark. The room was a good size and had enough space for our stay. However, the hotel overall did not feel very clean. We noticed food on multiple floors, and there was water on the floors from people coming from the pool, including in the elevator. Nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Beds were good. Pool was nice area. Also used the laundry area. The fitness center did have a couple machines that weren’t working but it was still decent.
This hotel works with DECEPTIVE 3rd party websites that do not declare NON-REFUNDABLE hotel rates up front when you click to book. I've called both the 3rd party as well as the hotel directly to request an exception, due to changes in lacrosse tournament scheduling, but hotel management refuses to allow the exception - even after numerous calls from myself and the 3rd party!!
