Enjoyed my stay, friendly staff. Some things could use updating, especially the carpet but other than that, would stay again.
Stay at hotels frequently and this is my favorite!, Prime location in Bucklandhills shopping plaza the best plaza in CT with every desired store/ restaurant. Carpet on the second floor hallway is horribly worn stained, thin, and bunching up off the floor from time and cleaning like old carpet does. Very clean, rooms are cleaner here than some higher end suites we've been to in fact. This Hampton Inn has an excellent location, easy and safe free parking, excellent customer service, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was above average, the air conditioner worked well, the shower was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Rooms have a refrigerator and satisfactory television. The pool and fitness room looked nice, and the ice machines worked. That said, there's nothing particularly fancy about this hotel, but all of the important boxes are checked as positive. Pretty decent rooms at this spot, and located right by lots of restaurants and shopping so no shortage of places to go if you are staying in the area. Staff wasn't as nice as some places I've been, but they were polite enough. Room was what I call the "split" design and was pretty clean.
