If it was not for friendly staff, I would give this hotel 1 star. This was the worst Hampton Inn I have stayed in. Our room was “refreshed” but smelled like mildew the second we walked in, the beds were rock solid (and likely 10 years old) and the carpet in the hallway was nearly black with dirt.
The dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Both my room and the common areas had crumbs and other bits of trash all over the floors. My bathroom had a big hairball in the corner. Sheets were stained. Room wasn't serviced during my five day stay. A cheap motel would have been an equivalent or better experience
We extended our stay several times, and ended up being here longer than 30 days. We loved it and enjoyed being there. One day we decided we needed to check out and move closer to the town my kids are in. And the next morning had a note slid under the door saying that they appreciated our business but that we have to go due to lack of vacancy.
