**Update** Hilton contacted me and is working this, so I expect this to likely be WAY better for your stay than my stay was. To be honest one of the worst Hamptons I've stayed at physicality, the staff was kind of friendly but the hotel was just bad. It started with being checked in and not acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member which I wasn't aware that my reservation didn't have until the internet told me it would charge me without it. Right now the renovations are progressing. I stay here often, but the construction noise began at 8am. As for a room on the first or second level. When I mentioned that they might have told me that they start early I was told "well it does say under construction on the website". I imagine the curt response from the front desk agent to a gold member means that she was tired of addressing the issue.
Definitely the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. That’s coming from someone who travels extensively for work and stays 80+ nights at Hilton properties every year. There was black mold in the bathtub, dust in the AC vents and a leak coming from the floor above into the ceiling mounted light fixture (wtf!?). Lots of noise from the ongoing renovation. I can't count how many hampton inns we've stayed in over the years. Dozens. This was one of the worst stops ever. Sure they're renovating but making no effort to keep the property clean during the process. Came in last night - all parking lot lights off lot was super dark....did finally come on later. Room was dirty. Shower lined with mildew and mold. Sock left in bathroom - hair in shower. Shower door completely falling off - almost cut my foot on it. Clearly was not cleaned.
