Disappointed by Service at Hampton Inn Crawfordsville I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and was deeply disappointed. Upon arrival, I explained that my assistant had gone on emergency leave, requiring me to cancel two nights. Despite the circumstances, the front desk staff insisted on charging a late cancellation fee. My first impression of my room was excellent: spacious, clean, well ventilated. Once night came, it became obvious that that was a thin veneer. The building obviously was constructed at lowest cost because you could hear everything in the building. My bedroom had mirror doors on the closet and every time the person upstairs moved the mirrors shook and it sounded like breaking class. Dirty. Bad attitudes. Poop on first toilet seat. Expired milk. The manager gave my wife a serious attitude. And I think the Olympic gymnastics team was in the room upstairs.
