Cynthia was awesome! Great service and got us checked in fast. Me and my wife stayed here one night after watching football games over in Norfolk (a place called Waterside) not too far from this hotel is the ferry you can take to get there. Everything was awesome save the water smell when you first enter the establishment and the very thin walls that the guests next to us seemed to be unaware of. After my experience, with the rude and incompetent front desk, I'm so happy I dodged a bullet, and did not stay at this hotel. I had made a reservation through Expedia that had a free cancellations and had cancelled 2 days prior and was calling the hotel, as a courtesy, because they were still sending emails that indicated the hotel had me listed as an incoming guest, even though I cancelled the reservation. Nice 3 star hotel with very nice check-in agents. The breakfast was very good and they opened at 6 am!

I was traveling and this was the closest to me and I wish I just stayed on the road and went further down. Not sure how you can call this a 3 star 1.5 maybe 2 at best. Parking was free but pretty tight, the rooms were definitely older and need a face lift in the worst way. The room had a weird smell not sure what it is. So to say the lease it's a place to crash and that's it dont get your hopes up I would avoid if I can do it over......and please can hotels stop it with the little small pillows already, let me get 2 large on... read more
