Exceptionally mid. This is the medium place. Everything is very medium. Nothing is bad. Nothing is amazing. Staff are friendly and apologetic when things fall short of their standards. They were surprisingly stingy with towels and toilet paper and stuff. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast the most mid Ive ever eaten. The only reason to stay here is the location. It is so close to UVA and the hospital.
The staff was great, great location and the room was exceptional.

The hotel says they clean the room every other day, apparently this is incorrect. More bothersome is that they attempted to charge us for “valet” parking upon check out. Also, stayed there before without a parking charge or mention of anything of that sort. Mind you there is no valet service or even a valet attendant. The manager claimed the person who checked us in should have mentioned it (never happened) and that it was on the parking permit. Good breakfast. Great bathroom products. Good bed. Good location overall. Felt a little sketchy walking at night (people approaching us begging for money outside the vape shop next door), but overall close to plenty of things. Housekeeping didn’t come but we only stayed two nights, so it wasn’t necessary.
