I got to spend 2 nights at 3 day stay. My second night in hospital reason we were in Charlottesville. The people at Hampton Inn and UVA was nice. I would recommend Hampton Inn.

Someone had dropped something FOUL in the garbage can just outside the second floor elevator. The entire staging area smelled like an open container of feces. But the room was good. The dandelion and peach teabags were great. The woman who worked the breakfast nook was spectacular.

I came to Charlottesville last night because my daughter who is in college was taken to the hospital at UVA (which was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hospital). She was released later last night but couldn’t handle the ride back to Harrisonburg, so in a rush I booked a room online, for the Hampton Inn Hilton. The hotel says they clean the room every other day, apparently this is incorrect. More bothersome is that they attempted to charge us for “valet” parking upon check out. Also, stayed there there without a parking charge or mention of anything of that sort. Mind you there is no valet service or even a valet attendant. The manager claimed the person who checked us in should have mentioned it (never happened) and that it was on the parking permit.
