Cedar Rapids is a surprisingly refreshing community. I chose to stay out of the downtown area and found this Hilton group hotel as a great choice. My work in this community has me driving across town and it only took 15 minutes. This hotel provided maybe the best value I've had in a long time. I recommend it highly. I will make this my regular stay every time... no need me to look elsewhere.

We stopped at the Hampton Inn unexpectedly due to the storms in the area. We were greeted warmly despite the issues the company was dealing with as all their computers were down. The Manager had to walk each guest and unlock their room. We couldn’t leave our room without being locked out - which would be inconvenient, except that the Manager cheerfully unlocked our room when we returned from dinner. We had a room with a King bed. Ok so I want to Apologize to this hotel they did nothing wrong it was not this center. They were very helpful even though I messed up it was late at night. That review was meant for the location on 6th street Thank you for your help.

Our AC broke at home during a week with heat indexes over 100. We have a two year old and needed somewhere cool to stay during this excessive heat wave. Alice provided us with a great check in experience. She was very kind and got us fixed up, thank you, Alice!
