Great place to stay while visiting Carolina beach! Centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere we went! Boardwalk just steps away! Friendly staff, great breakfast & coffee! Bed was super comfy and we got a room with a balcony facing the beach. Loved the pool & the tiki hut that offered snacks and drinks! Would definitely stay here again!
Very clean room. Friendly staff all around. Very convenient to everything at Carolina Beach. Right next to the boardwalk and walks me distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and ice cream shops.
For almost $500 a night all these are NOT acceptable: 1. [ EXTREMELY LOW SHOWER PRESSURE ] You will find more pressure in the outside pool showers. This hotel's shower heads are so limited to water saving that it's impossible to wash off shampoo from your head. So bring your own shower head and a wrench. Lol. When you put the shower head on, water falls only 1 ft away from a shower head (for real), even when you move the head all the way up to get the most reach. Very disappointing!!!!!!!!! 2. We've stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years—more than most because my spouse is a Hilton Diamond member and travels frequently for work—so we know what to expect from the brand. Unfortunately, this particular location fell well below that standard. We arrived with reasonable expectations, but a series of issues quickly added up. The room itself felt extremely dated.
