The hotel is in a good location. I am sure at one point this hotel was too notch, but it has been worn down. The carpet on the fourth floor was not glued down to the floor so it was bunchie in certain areas making it hard to roll my luggage. The seats in the breakfast area need to be reapolstered. The values is good so this is why they get a 4 not 5 star. Maybe should be a 3, but the staff was nice and you can tell they try.
Updated review: We stayed here on our way back and could see where the previous reviews are about the carpet lifting. This time we weren't fortunated enough to get an upgrade or to get main floor. This time we were on the second floor and the carpet is lifting extremely bad, bad enough where we couldn't push the luggage cart down the hallway. We had to unload our stuff in the middle of the hallway and make a few trips to our room. This is a concern hazard and I'm surprised there hasn't been any injuries reported. Looking bac... read more
Not what I expected from a Hampton. Carpet is lifting in the hallways. Room had a damaged light cover that fell and shattered onto the ground over night. I requested a cleaning from the front desk and when I arrived back in the evening, the room had been untouched and the broken pieces were still there. One of the curtains was also damaged, and needed repairing. Desk staff was friendly.

We had stayed at Hampton Inns before and were generally very pleased with the chain. However on our most recent stay at the Hampton Inn east gate in Regina we were very disappointed with the hotel’s overall appearance and cleanliness. The hall carpets were uneven and needed stretching- a tripping hazard for customers. The carpet in our room had obviously not been vacuumed.
