Staying at Hampton Inn Buellton/Santa Ynez was decent but it could be better. My mom and I chose this convenient location along the 101 for our first trip to Solvang. I am also fond of the abundance of complimentary parking. There is also an onsite laundromat where guests can wash their clothes using coin-operated washers and dryers. Normally we love the Hampton Inns. This one was an exception. The first room smelled like cat piss. We asked to move. It took a while but we were finally moved. This room was fine but my wife wanted to speak to the manager about the lack of help. The manager basically hid and the desk manager was one of rudest and most unhelpful we have ever encountered. Their slogan is a joke. Great area but forget customer service.
