Riverside view was nice with a convenient and great location, but... Not the most welcoming front service staff, the rooms were clean enough, but there was no conditioner, no body wash, and no lotion in the in-room attached bottles. The hot tub was cold (not lukewarm, actually cold). And to top it all off, we got stuck in the elevator and were only able to get off when someone else hit the open button. I would have given four stars, but the beds were just so uncomfortable—very firm. The staff was really nice and friendly, and of course that’s not their fault at all. My grown daughter agreed she didn’t get much sleep either because of how firm the bed was. The kids did have a great time in the pool and hot tub, though! The location was fun too—within walking distance to the Old Mill Mall, with nice walking paths and bike rentals nearby.

Price seems okay until they tack on parking and a bunch of service fees that the other Hilton doesn't charge. $135 room turned out to be close to $194 when I checked out. Also the damn air conditioner didn't work right. Had to use a a hair dryer to get it to turn on to cool the room down. The guy at the front desk seemed bothered when I asked him about parking. With other Hilton properties in the area, definitely not coming back to this one.

Excellent choice for our long weekend stay. Absolutely no complaints.
