Pros- great location next to the beach. Solid free breakfast. Hotel staff is nice enough. Cons- broken TV, bathroom door didn’t close, the walls are THIN, and even if you pay for an ocean view you aren’t going to get it unless you get one of the rooms on the top floor. I paid an extra $30 a night just to get a view of a parking lot. I would recommend staying somewhere else unless you can get one of these rooms for under $100 a night.

We arrived about 4 hours before check in but Abigail gave us an entry key card which allowed us to exit the lobby/dining area and get out to the beach. After a couple of hours on the beach, we returned to check in and asked about upgrading our room from the street side to one with an ocean view. Vanessa, a manager I believe, stepped in and approved an upgrade at no additional charge. Abigail and Vanessa both exceeded our expectations. Very nice location. Short drive to get to downtown St. Augustine. Great view of the beach from my balcony. Plenty of room in their breakfast area (Shout out to Alicia, the breakfast tenant, she went above and beyond to help). I hope they fix the AC on the 4th floor. Leaving your room is like walking into a sauna. Pool is very clean, and I would definitely stay here again during summer visits to the area.
