The room, service, and location were all great. However, it is very hot and humid in Florida, of course! The humidity was affecting my husband's breathing. So, we purchased a dehumidifier from Lowes. This made the room so much drier. My husband was able to continue with our vacation without a trip to the ER. We took advantage of the Old Town Trolley which picked up at the hotel. Hampton Inn used to be the top of the line hotels. What happened? Beds were hard felt like laying on concrete. Had housekeeping try to walk in on us even after we yelled at them. Lobby stayed out of coffee. The pool area looked run down. The floors 12 hrs after breakfast were still dirty. Told hotel management or whoever sent me a text that we rated our service a 1. They asked when would be a good time to contact me regarding my rating. I said anytime. We'll I didn't know anytime meant no time. I still haven't heard from any... read more

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location and easy access to the beach.
