The Good: Great location, nice room (King suite) with plenty of towels, mostly great staff. The Bad: July 4th, we arrived at about 3:55pm. We were told our room wasn't really and to wait about 15 min. Check in is at 3:00pm. We never got an apology. Went to get coffee while we waited and it was COLD. Though the room was very nice and for the most part, clean but all along the baseboard in the bathroom was black mold. We stayed 3 nights in connecting rooms, and everything was great. For the price and how close it is to the beach, it’s almost impossible to beat. The breakfast offered is pretty standard, but done well. There is a sizable gym with plenty to get in a solid workout away from home. The pool was clean and the water was so warm, it was incredible. We recently spent a few days at the Hampton Inn at Sneads Ferry with family. While the rooms were a bit on the small side, the hotel itself was well kept, clean, and very inviting. The pool was so relaxing and the downstairs lobby area had plenty of room to sit for larger groups. My only downside is the maid service is every other day and when you have 4 people in 1 room, things can get messy quick. I do realize this has become more common post-covid.
