Automatic 5 stars for having BACON the second morning of our 2-night stay. There was a lot more to like about this hotel, including friendly staff, a room that was both nice and clean, and a jet tub that was great to relax in. They also had parking spots in the back that made trailer parking easy without taking up 6 spaces - an unusual and most welcome feature. We were quite amused by a toilet paper holder that only Stretch Armstrong could reach from the toilet. Not a big deal, but they might want to rethink that one.
This is a clean and nice hotel. Breakfast was good. For the price per night of $230, I was expecting this to be on the same level as other Hamptons. This hotel has not been refreshed or updated in quite some time. I almost enjoyed the 90's nostalgia. Also, the room I was in had a very strong odor and did not smell fresh. I was very tired and I had a clean bed to sleep in, but would not stay here again if I had another choice. The front desk people were very kind. It is time to update this property.
