The room smelled like dog we have allergies and we don't have animals so we could smell it right away my daughter got up in the morning to take a shower, went to the bathroom, and there were fleas on her foot. We didn't know that it was pet friendly, so that was our fault. I was told they didn't have fleas, but they do. If you have allergies, please find some other accommodation because you're going to have problems .
Super expensive in October... not worth the $789... but we had a free night, so a night in Salem was good.
Under no circumstances should you book this hotel! I had a medical emergency and could not make any part of our trip from Detroit to Salem last weekend. I called Thursday night to find out my options for the my reservation the following Sunday (yes three days notice!) and Ishmail the manager was very rude and hung up on me. I've called Expedia multiple times and they reached out to this hotel for the past 5 days and they will not help at all. No refund, no credit, nothing.
