Hotel is rundown and not maintained
Very convenient location for an overnight stopover. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew put on a good feed in the morning with fresh omelettes and waffles
We came into town for a night, the customer service was good; however our room was not the greatest. The room had an odor, it smelled like they used a old dirty mop to clean the room. We had to spray lysol and it didn't help with the odor. The furniture was very outdated and you can see that the building just has not been taken care of. The breakfast looked yummy but we couldn't eat because of the flies that were on top of the spoon for grits and when pulling the tray out for the muffins, flies came out as well. Desk and cleaning staff were very polite and friendly. BUT the room smelled musty; bathroom wallpaper was falling off; the microwave cord couldn't reach the plug, so we had to take it out of the cabinet to use it; the breakfast area tables were dirty (the breakfast attendant was either outside talking to someone or walking around talking on her phone.) The worst Hampton experience.
