Less of our family stayed at the Hampton Inn in Roxboro June 27-29 because of the exorbitant rate. We were first quoted a $234 rate, reduced to $209, then lowered to $199. That's plus taxes. Family members got rates at Hampton & Hilton Springhill in Durham for $139 & $159, and in South Boston for $137 and $152. When we entered our room, and we have pics, the toilet had a gray streak around the water line and the mirror was smeared. As a hospitality professional with over 10 years of experience, I can confidently say this manager lacks the skills and temperament to deal with guests properly. *The management here is not only unprofessional but could be considered a liability. Disappointing and concerning experience.*
