We had a bad experience at this hotel due to lack of honest communication. There was no hot water. We were informed about this problem literally during check-in at 9:30 PM. Was traveling with my little kids and it was quite a difficult experience. We had to book another hotel the next day. Terrible transparency! I was refunded for one room, not two rooms that I’ve booked, in addition, did cost me an extra 200 on the replacement hotel. Yay me I guess.
Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a general decline in the quality of Hampton Inns lately, but this location in Monroeville was particularly disappointing. The issues started before I even got inside; my room door looked damaged and was exceptionally difficult to open. Upon finally entering, I immediately noticed a burnt-out light. The cleanliness of the room was entirely unacceptable.
