We stayed here recently while visiting friends. (The NFL draft was also in town which resulted in room rates that nearly doubled in price.) We were very disappointed in our recent stay for several reasons. First of all, our room was not clean. When we arrived the toilet hadn’t been flushed. Later we found our sheets to be dirty/bloody! Disappointing Experience at Hampton Inn, Monroeville, PA We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Monroeville, PA, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The primary reason for our disappointment was the state of the pool. It was gross and murky, resembling a swamp rather than a refreshing swimming area. To make matters worse, there was no staff attending to the pool throughout our entire stay, which made it feel neglected and unsafe. $300 per night = bug in bed, broken lamp, dirty bathroom (have pictures of all this) AND dogs howling in room next door very rundown. Not Hampton quality.

The room had a few issues, I brought it to their attention. Nothing that would make me go elsewhere. Hotel rooms require constant upkeep to prevent a rundown appearance.
