The staff was so nice!
I want to take a moment to recognize two incredible employees at Hampton Inn in Opelousas — Alicia Guillory and Felicia — who continuously go above and beyond to make every stay exceptional. On my last visit, after a long drive from Texas, I arrived to find the hotel overbooked. Despite having a reservation, I was told there were no rooms available. Disgusting
I'm leaving this review purely because the staff at this location is fantastic. They called me right after I left to let me know that I left my Kindle in my room. I was so happy - thank you guys for doing that! They were also so nice and brightened my morning at breakfast. Appreciate y'all! Other than that, the common areas were great. The gym seemed totally unused, so if you want to get a work out in the equipment is almost brand new (as of July 2025).
